The Division of Special Education submitted and was awarded a new Professional Development grant (formerly the State Improvement Grant). This new grant will be in place for the next three to four years.
Tennessee created a set of Early Learning Developmental Standards (TN ELDS) in 2004 to help all adults who care for children across the state understand appropriate practices for caring for children from birth to age 5.
